' after begging, they finally granted it. still, would it have killed them to offer me an upgrade as a small token of appreciation for my 'suffering'?

Great for Family Visits Despite Some Challenges
We enjoyed our family stay, but the noise from the nearby roads was overwhelming. Breakfast could use more variety. However, the staff made sure we were comfortable. If possible, request a room facing away from the street. Overall, not bad for a family getaway if noise isn't a dealbreaker.
